Teacher Training

Teachers Trained

Strengthening teachers is one of the most effective ways to improve education at scale. For more than a decade, Fundación Scalesia has worked across public schools throughout the province, in partnership with the Ministry of Education of Ecuador, to support continuous professional development for educators in Galápagos.

Since 2016, we have trained more than 400 teachers, reaching thousands of educators over time. In parallel, we have supported the development of approximately 50 pedagogical leaders who now mentor peers, strengthen teaching practices, and contribute to instructional improvement within their schools and districts.

This work extends our impact far beyond a single classroom—ensuring that effective, contextualized teaching reaches students across the entire public education system.
